Matt Bogacki is a multimedia animator currently living in Philadelphia. He specializes in stop motion and 2D animation, and received his BFA in Animation from the Maryland Institute College of Art in the spring of 2018.

ABOUT MY WORK

With a reoccurring cast of characters including clowns, cows, and anthropomorphic moons, my work meshes absurdity and satire with my nostalgia for classic cartoons and my upbringing in rural Pennsylvania. Starting with people and experiences from my life and hyperbolizing them, I then interpret these stories through a grotesque and cartoony style; full of visual gags and slapstick. This mix of ideas and style creates funny and high energy stories that everyone can laugh with, while still feeling genuine and unique to my experiences.
